Public website privacy notice
A clear account of the information Rihuum may receive, why it is used and the choices available across the public digital ecosystem.
Effective 22 July 2026 · Rihuum Intercontinental Limited · RC 1476119Who is responsible
Rihuum Intercontinental Limited (RC 1476119) is responsible for the personal information described in this public website notice. Contact: info@rihuum.com; 0916 210 2777, 0808 240 7830 or 0703 132 1663. The continuity email is rihuumconsult@gmail.com.
A separate product, Academy, client deployment or contracted service may require a more specific notice and allocation of controller/processor responsibilities. That notice and the written agreement will govern the relevant processing.
Information we may receive
We may receive contact details, organisation and role information, enquiry content, communication records, event or course interest, recruitment information and technical website data such as device, browser, consent state and page interaction when the relevant optional service is enabled.
- Do not submit passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary contact channels.
- The first-release enquiry form prepares an email on your own device; it does not claim server receipt until you send the message.
- RIA Guide is a bounded site-information preview and states when no conversation data is stored by that preview.
Why information is used
Information may be used to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver contracted services, administer learning or events, manage relationships, protect systems, meet legal responsibilities and improve Rihuum content and services.
The appropriate legal basis depends on the relationship and purpose and may include steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests assessed against individual rights, consent where required, or compliance with a legal obligation.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
Necessary functions operate without optional consent. Rihuum asks for a visitor choice before loading configured analytics or advertising services. Preferences can be changed through the Privacy choices control in the footer.
The three domains require separate production analytics streams. Development and staging environments are excluded from production measurement. Advertising remains inactive until an approved account, publisher record, placements, notices and consent controls are complete.
Sharing, providers and international processing
Rihuum may use carefully selected hosting, communications, analytics, payment, learning, support and professional-service providers when necessary. Access should be limited by purpose, contract, security and retention obligations.
Where information is processed outside Nigeria or another applicable jurisdiction, Rihuum will assess the required transfer mechanism and safeguards for the specific service. This notice does not claim that every future provider or transfer is already approved.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for a documented business, contractual, security or legal need, then deleted, anonymised or archived under an approved rule. Exact periods vary by record and service and will be defined in the relevant schedule.
Rihuum applies proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Suspected security issues should be reported through the published security channel.
Individual rights and choices
Subject to applicable law and verification, a person may request information about processing and exercise relevant rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Some records may need to be retained for lawful reasons.
A person may also raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority. Rihuum will use current official guidance and qualified advice for specific cases.
Children, updates and other sites
Public Rihuum websites are not designed to collect children’s personal information without an appropriate programme, guardian process and safeguarding controls. Academy services involving minors will use a specific notice and consent process.
This notice may change when services, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated and material changes communicated appropriately. External links have their own privacy practices.
Email info@rihuum.com or use the Rihuum contact centre. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary sensitive information.
